The top of the dowel should now be 3/4" thick.ĩ. Cut the 1/4" sides of the dowel down to the 1 1/2" mark. Then set a piece of ¼” board on edge on top of the dowel on each side against the scrap piece of wood to make the mark. Place the clamp on the bottom 1 ½” segment. An easy way to do this is place the dowel in a clamp in between two pieces of scrap wood to act as walls. Draw a line, ¼” in, from the top down to the 1 ½” marks. Cut a piece of 1 1/4" wood dowel, 5" long.ħ. Round the edges of the base (if desired and you have the equipment).ĥ. Drill a 1 1/4" hole in the center of the base.Ĥ. An easy way to do it is draw diagonal lines from each corner.ģ. You should now be back where you started !ġ. Insert the disk into the slot right to left.ġ6. The ring should now fall to the bottom of the pole.ġ5. Bring the ring up over the pole to the left side.ġ4. Insert the ring through the slot left to right.ġ3. Insert the disk through the slot left to right.ġ1. Very important!!! Rotate the ring so the rope exits out through the top on the left.ġ0. Rotate the ring over the top to the left.ĩ. Insert the disk through the slot right to left.Ĩ. Bring the ring up over the pole and ball to the left.ħ. Pass the ring left to right through the wood.Ħ. Look closely at the photo to make sure you have the correct ring placement.Ĥ. The rope and ball must exit through the back of the ring on the left side. Insert the rope and the ball through the ring. Insert wood disk through wood slot left to right.ģ. Again, please note: I am left handed so everything is focused on the left sideġ.
